On Thursday January 31st our Medical Aesthetic students took an exciting field trip to the International Dermal Institute located downtown Toronto on King St. West! The students took part in a Skin Care product Workshop that assisted them in furthering their knowledge on all the Dermalogica skin care products and recommending the proper home care routine for clients. Students were also able to engage and interact with one another to understand the importance of product ingredients, how to intermix all the different masques and how to properly use and recommend products that are best suited for clients to ensure client satisfaction and client retention; both key elements in maintaining a high standard within the Beauty Industry.

Lastly, the trainer at the workshop was really impressed by the students’ expertise and knowledge that they have gained thus far in their program! Way to go ladies– keep on learning’ and aiming high!
